True Detective Season 3 Location of Choice! The eclectic locations in Fayetteville offer culture and history. From the eateries and entertainment on Dickson Street to the charming downtown square to the gazebos and hills of Wilson Park.
Dickson Street: The heartbeat of Fayetteville's nightlife, this street stretches from US Hwy 71 to the University of Arkansas. We have many historic buildings of various sizes - restaurants, bars and retail. Outside also provides great visuals during day and night.
Wilson Park: A few blocks north of Dickson Street, this area is the jewel of Fayetteville's Parks and Recreation complexes. It has a public pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, gazebos, picnic tables, open fields and a hammock hotel. Don't forget the unique Wilson Park Castle (by artist Frank Williams) and goldfish pond. The variety of scenery provides many great shot opportunities for a Director of Photography.
Fayetteville Square: With it’s funky style at art galleries and local businesses, the historic downtown square is ground zero for Fayetteville culture. It has a beautiful garden surrounding the historic Old Post Office along with two art galleries (Fayetteville Underground & sUgAR Gallery).
